I am bit confused with many types of tickets and many numbers of attractions in Disneyland California. Please help me? To be more specific, I have no idea what will be free, what will be extra charged when I have an admission ticket purchased?

  1. Specifically the 1-Day Park Hopper lets you go between both parks(Disneyland and California Adventure) on the same day.  Just if you do this be sure to get a Handstamp and keep your ticket with you.

The Park Hopper Ticket allows you entrance as well as unlimited use of all Attractions and Shows, with the exception of the Arcades and Shooting Gallery.  It also allows you to obtain FastPasses, which is a free service that lets you "save" your place in line on specific attractions.

It does not include parking, or any food or merchandise that you may want to purchase.

  2. You only pay an entrance fee. The ticket you have covers that for both parks. Once in the parks, you don't pay anything for the rides, you just stand in line. The ticket you have allows you to go from Disneyland to Disney's California Adventure. You can "hop" between the two parks throughout the day as many times as you want. You can freely pass between each park with no extra cost. When you go to one park and decide to leave to go to the other park, you just need to get your hand stamped at the gate before leaving to the other park.

  3. 1 day park hopper is a tough call, really. First of all, you can try almost ALL attractions free no matter which ticket you have.

With a 1 day park hopper, the way to go is this. Grab a bunch of Disneyland vouchers the night before your visit and carefully select the attractions YOU CANNOT MISS (remember you paid extra just for the park hopper). Now with the park hopper if you try attractions as they come, you will be stuck in one park and your money will go waste.

Select the 1 or 2 most desired rides/attractions (the choice is subjective) and get fast-passes (or something similar) for them as the first thing in the morning. Then finish off the rest of the stuff there is to see. This is a way to make a reservation for a ride later in the day and it is free.

If you have not bought tickets already, consider a multiple day ticket without the park hopper option (I think it will save you $50)...That way you can see all that a particular park has to offer.

  4. The ticket is general admission.  The park hopper ticket allows you to access both Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure in the same day.

Once you are in the park, all of the attractions are included with the admission.

  5. You can go on all of them. Disneyland is not like a carnival where you have to buy tickets for rides once you get in. Your park hopper ticket gets you on all the rides.

    Have fun!!!!

  6. i understand you being confused but its really simple one you pay for the pass you just need to pay for food, soviners stuff like that the one exeption is the arcades and the some of the games like the shooting one
