Question:

Disneyland annual pass upgrade question?

I have a Southern Ca annual pass, and bought parking for it. Summer is here now though and have so many people who want to go, it's not worth paying $40 everytime I go. So I want to go to a premium. Does anyone know if I can use what I paid for parking towards an upgrade?

  1. If you bought a parking option for it, that's as advanced as you can get. but if you chose not to purchase the parking thing, then you can upgrade it for just a small fee. So, if you didn't then, no, sorry =[ you can't use that towards getting the free upgrade. I've tried that before, didn't work. but you CAN upgrade it, because I wanted the pass with no black out days.

  2. Yes, you can!  Normally, you are supposed to pay for parking on a blockout date even if you already paid for parking unless you get a really nice cast member.  Legal verbiage states your parking pass can only be used on a non-blockout dates.

If you did happened to pay the $12 parking, you can apply that to your premium pass.

That's a big jump from So Cal to Prem.  But let me give you some legal verbiage that's not easily found on the internet.

When you upgrade your passport, YOU KEEP THE SAME EXPIRATION DATE.  You just pay the difference.  Yes, your annual parking credit will be use towards your new pass.  But if your pass is going expired in 30 days, then just pay for the renewal price for the Prem.
