Disneyland or Disneyworld?

Question

I've been to both Disneyland in California and Disneyworld in Florida.

And although Disneyland in California was built first, I MUCH preferred Florida's version.

Anyone agree?

What other Disneyland's are great and why?

i was never in disneyland, but disneyworld was amazing, and it's closer to me, so i think i will continue to go there. =)

First let me say that I have gone to and enjoyed Disneyland all my life. I have never been to Disney World and I don't think I ever plan to. It just doesn't look appealing to me. Disney World just looks too large for my taste with lots of different parks all spread out that require much transportation. I much prefer Disneyland's small size and uniqueness. I love the ability to be able to stay at the Disneyland Hotel and have the parks in walking distance, no monorail, bus, or other transportation planning necessary. Disneyland is much more intimate with smaller everything in comparison to Disney World's larger more spread out lands and walkways. Some people may prefer that but I enjoy the more (in my opinion) laid back, easy to navigate Disneyland. I also, of course, cherish the fact that it was the first park Walt Disney created and the only one he ever step foot into. I enjoy all the extra details he left behind, his apartment, Club 33, and all the original attractions he created there. Disneyland has a special place in my heart that Disney World shall never replace!

Also, don't get upset that I have these thoughts on Walt Disney World even though I have never been there, they are just my own personal opinions.

i live right next to disneyland literally i can see [and hear] the loud fireworks from my house lol ive only been to disneyland so i would prefer disney world it seems like disneyland is better for small kids and disneyworld is good for older kids like teens and adults i think theres also water parks there so thats good for the summer?

Yeah I agree totally, well i just being at the Florida's Disney but i have watched a lot of videos, photos and documentals 'bout it so i think Floridas Disney is totally better, i agree with you!!

definitely disneyland! mayb disneyworld is bigger but disneyland is the original!!!!! plus california adventure is really fun

ive never been to any other disneyland but the one in cali but i heard that the one in Japan has the scariest haunted mansion
