Disneyland should be in Southeast Asia already,especially Malaysia.

within southeast asia,which country should suits best for disneyland to be build? Malaysia is suitable for it.

You have got to be kidding right?. For what, for the 1000 Malaysians who can afford to go there or for PAS to start demonstrating against it.

Isn't this the same country that wanted to ban Jewish players from Chelsea to enter Malaysia, thank God they fired Avram Grant and brought in the Brazillian.

Also no alchohol at the Chelsea game because of what reason again?. So everyone cannot drink because some people fear that by selling beer, this entire nation will be condemn?.

if im not mistaken, Walt Disney World are planning to build their sixth Disneyland (after California, Florida, Tokyo, Paris, and Hong Kong) either in Shanghai, Malaysia or Singapore.. yet until now, they dont decide if they really need that sixth Disneyland or not.. well, just wait and see..

I still like the idea of the Disneyland in Hong Kong and they're still expanding it. I just love Hong Kong and I'm always there for a break at least twice a year. I've been to the Disneyland in Florida, Paris and Tokyo too and to have a Disneyland in Malaysia? I doubt that it'll be successful with famous "tak apa" attitude of certain Malaysian developers and loads of red tapes by the government..not to mention the under table money..So judging be the services given by the Disneyland from other countries and for the "big fishes" in Malaysia along with the crappy attitude to implement the same policies and passion for it, I doubt that it'll work out in our country. Even if they did decide to have such a project, it'll probably take decades to finish and even if it's done, it'll probably have some internal problems in the building itself like leaking pipes, cracked buildings, smelly toilets with dung everywhere and terrible facilities.

I doubt boses at Disneyland would want to open their theme park in Malaysia. There there was some sort of discussion going on but it it is still far from confirmation. Unfortunately, today Malaysia is not seen an ideal place to invest in the eyes of foreigners anymore. The present government has already done much damaged to the name of the country. Today, even foreigners on the street ( not investors ) would tell you that Malaysia is much different from Myanmar and Zimbabwe. Even Arabs are not coming to Malaysia in a big time.

At the moment, among SEA countries, Thailand is a better choice to have a Disneyland theme park. Singapore is actually a good choice but they already have one big theme park on the line. Therefore i don't think it's wise to have another big theme park in the small island. On contrary, Thailand is already a major tourist destination and is well known internationally, having a major theme park would just compliment what that Thais can offer.
