Disneyworld vs. Disneyland?

I agree with Fuzz. It all amounts to what your kids are interested in. You should get the free Disney Vacation guide videos and sit down with them and watch them together and ask if what they see on each is something they'd like to do. Keep in mind, as well, that DW has water parks. DL doesn't.

Disney World has a bigger park, but that dosn't necessarily mean there is more stuff for younger kids - it depends on what your 4 and 8 year old want to do. Do they want rides? or shows?  Disneyland has more kid friendly rides, while Disneyworld has better shows. Also Disneyland has California Adventure added onto it, and that has loads of things for younger kids.
