I'm going to Orlando's Disney World next month. In terms of water parks, which one is the best, Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach or Aquatica. Also, what are the depths of the pools at these parks. I ask because my father loves waterslides but doesn't know how to swim.

  1. Typhoon lagoon has the biggest wave pool on earth!!!!! But there is not many thrill-seeking rides there while at Blizzard beach there is!

So if you like thrill-seeking rides deffinately go with blizzard beach but if not typhoon lagoon.

And i think Aquatica is more for the children so if you have children go there. Also aquatica has a ride thats like in a tube that is see-through and you can see the fish while your going down it. Called the dolphin plunge

EDIT: oh and by the way what boatnerf said about the wave pool not being able to stand in well thats only half true!

The wave pool is like a beach, it starts from like 10cm deep and then gets deeper and deeper. So you dad could just stand where it is still quite shallow

  2. I would say Blizzard beach because it has a variety of Water slides and one for the whole family! It is also fun for little kids because there is a section with small slides! Also the way it is designed is pretty cool to!

Aquatica is cool but it is not part of Disney and isn't as family friendly!Well at least thats what I think!

Typhoon Lagoon is great fun to but I still prefer Blizzard Beach!

You can't go far wrong with whichever you choose!

I hope whichever you chose you enjoy!

  3. i went to all 3

    my fave was blizzard beach

cause they had variety from little kids to adults

they have lots of water slides

i remember them having a pool that was like a beach shore

so the pools go from about 1in-5ft

  4. the best one is typoon lagoon because Typoon Lagoon has a snorkling tank where you can snorkal *free*.! also the wave pool is the bestttt. they have the best waves and the waterslides are the best everrrrr there. and the water at the end of the slides arent big there probley 4 feet at the deepest and they have lifeguards around just in case

  5. The resort toilet.  O, and depth you ask? 2,000 leagues under the sea.

  6. Blizzard Beach is full of water slides. There is Summit Plummet, 60mph water slide, this is the fastest and steepest water slide in North America. Also, there is Slush Gusher, a body slide. There is Downhill Double Dipper, this is a fantastic racing slide. Not to mention Snow Stormers, Toboggan Racers and Runoff Rapids. Finally, there is the world's longest family raft ride called Teamboat Springs. So I would definitely say Blizzard is the best for water slides rather than the wave pools of Typhoon Lagoon. I loved my holiday to Orlando. Hope you enjoy it. Make the most of it!

  7. 1st of aquatica is not a disney water park. But for typhoon and blizzard beach, typhoon is more about scenery and more family oriented and blizzard beach is for the trill seekers.

  8. Typhoon Lagoon is my favorite. The wave pool is pretty deep, deeper than you can stand in. Almost all attractions have shallow water at the bottom so your father should be fine.

  9. I have been to Blizzard Beach and it was cool but for older people i would suggest  Typhoon Lagoon

  10. its called disneysea

  11. I prefer Typhoon Lagoon, we went the first time in 1994, but the last time we were there in 2006 - I was disappointed - I thought the place was rather dirty -  A LOT of leaves and stuff in the lazy river and the place was overrun with 13 year olds - must have been school trips, but they were out of control and no one seemed to care.  Typhoon Lagoon is more scenic and natural - and Blizzard Beach is more cartoonish. I think I'm getting too old for water parks.
