Disorderly conduct ?

if you go to court for disorderly conduct and the judge gives you community service and a few other things and if you do them by the time you go back to court ...is it likely that that case will get thrown out or dismissed

  1. Probably not thrown out or dismissed... But if you do comply with all of the Judge's orders that should be the end of it unless he puts you on probation.  Make sure you have written proof for all of the community service and the other "few things"  and bring it with you to the next court date... Dog ate my homework won't work in court.

    Just because your sentence was community service does not mean this offense gets erased from your record.

    Your best good luck is your own good behavior. Only you can keep yourself out of jail in the long run.


  2. you won't have to go back to court as long as you honor the terms, the community service administrators will send an attendance report to the judges office to show your completion of the required community service, all other things you agreed to, fines, etc...should have some sort of receipt to show you paid or completed the requirement you agreed to. and if you are honoring those terms set forth by the court unless otherwise expressed by the judge no dismissal is in the future

  3. No, but if you meet the terms and conditions within the specified period, you will remain on probation and not have to serve time in jail or prison, which was likely specified if you did not meet the terms and conditions of probation.
