Display Drivers. i'm using intel P4 2.4Ghz on 845G motherboard and Nvidia GeForce FX5200 AGP

Question

i'm using intel P4 2.4Ghz on 845G motherboard and Nvidia GeForce FX5200 AGP graphics card. i have windows XP pro SP2 installed with directX 9.0c. but pc is displaying very low graphics like 600x400 resolution and 8bit colors. i tried several times to adjust graphics but after rebooting it appears same. i checked hardware many times and it is correct. i downloaded latest drivers and upgraded my display driver software for Nvidia GeForce. i have lost my original Nvidia graphics card driver CD which was provided with my card and before, when i had that CD and installed old drivers contained in it, it worked fine and now with latest drivers it doesnt work. its strange. what is the solution for this problem?
