Display panel on dv9040us has opened up

Question

The display panel on the left bottom corner where the lock is, has opened up and it now difficult for me to close the laptop nor open, with great difficulty i need to press the panel togather and close the laptop and vice versa while opening. suggestions for me to get this rectified. my location area is baltimore, MD 21206.
