Display problems in Inspiron 8200

Question

I have a dell Inspiron 8200 laptop the display has very recently changed it is very tempermental normal to start and with time there will be a series of lines and a blurr appears. Following the dell diagnostic tests i have been told that the problem is with the graphics card. I was wondering if this is true as the problem is tempermental and also if there is a easy way to replace a graphics card myself
