Display screen resolution,HELP?

Question

i have changed my screen resolution from 800x600 to 1024x768.because of this desktop of my computer is not appearing . my operating system is XP-PROFESSIONAL.what should i do to make my desktop appear?my monitor is 15" .

boot the computer, hit the F8 key on startup, select safe mode, and now change the resolution back, reboot and you should be back in business

change the settings back or try going into your controll pannel and changing your hardware accellerator settings
