Disrespecting other religions?

I'm not a religious person, but I do respect others and whatever it is they believe in.

Why is it that I see a lot of people disrespect religions other than their own. They seem to think that they are smarter and superior simply because they believe in something different.

Some people really are not sure what they truly believe, and are trying to convince themselves.

I have seen so much hate, ignorance, and arrogance from the Christian fundamentalists that I have no respect for them.

sometimes it is involuntary or unconcious

I don't respect ANY beliefs because they kill people are are completely baseless.
