Dissovle stiches?

Well yesterdayy I had surgery to remove two chalazions under my lower eye lids...on both eyes. And I was asleep so I dont remember anything haha but anyway...I have dissolve stiches in my eye and wanna know how long it will take for them to come out...or 'dissolve'? haha also...when can I wear make-up again??

Depending on what kinds they use anywhere from 5 days to 2 weeks - ask your Dr. to make sure.

Are these sutures on the outside of you eyelid or on the underside against the eyeball?  Either way you need not worry about them.  If they are on the outside of your eyelid you should probably wait about 7 days before applying any make-up.  If they are on the underside then you can start wearing make-up now.  Actually they will take quite a while to dissolve.
