  1. The main stations in Torino are Porta Nuova and Porta Susa. There are trains to Nice from Porta Nuova that connect in Ventimiglia or Cuneo (or in some cases you would have to change trains in both). Ventimiglia is on the border with France. The Lingotto station referenced in the other reply is also an option if you're closer to there; it's about 7 minutes from Porta Nuova on the train - the ones from Porta Nuova also stop there. A lot of the tourist hotels are more convenient to Porta Nuova though.

The Italian train website is: http://www.trenitalia.com/en/index.html

  2. If someone hasn't told you already go to

    http://www.trenitalia.com/en

All train schedules should be available

  3. It takes from 4 hours  to about 6 and a half hours.  There aren't direct trains, so you change once or twice.  They leave from Torino Lingotto station.

the quickest connection leaves Torino at 7:07 arrive in Nice at 11:06 with changes at Cuneo (8:28/8:33) and Breil-sur-Roya (9:57/10:08).

Or leave Torino Lingotto at 7:38 arr. Nice at 11:54, change in Ventimiglia (10:45/11:15)

NOTE: the "main train station" in Torino is Porta Nuova.

The trains to Nice also go from there about 7 or 8  minutes earlier than from Lingotto. (When I typed in Torino it came up from Lingotto but i checked Porta Nuova and saw they start from there.)

There are plenty of trains throughout the day.  check schedules at http://www.oebb.at/en
