  1. A compound is the product of 2 or more Different Elements chemically combined. Salt...NaCl, Water... H2O, Sulphuric acid... H2SO4.

The chemical and physical properties of a compound are vastly different to those of the elements of its make-up.

An alloy is the product of 2 or more Different Elements fused together when molten to form a Mixture of Elements with no chemical reaction taking place...Brass, Steel ..etc.

The chemical properties of each element are unchanged.

  2. An alloy is a mixture of 2 or materials. Mixtures are just that, there are no chemical bonds in action.

A compound is made by a chemical bond between two or more elements. The properties of a compound can be very much different from its elements, eg, water is a compound of H2 and O2, two active gases.

    .

  3. Alloy is a combination of 2 or more metals Ex. Stainless Steel

While compund is combination of two or more elements. Water (2H2O)

In my opinion they are almost the same But some compounds naturally occured in nature. While all Alloys are man made materials

    *Hope This Helps*
