  1. Nonrenewable (they are one-time use...they will run out).  Example: oil, etc.

    Renewable (they are continuous or can be remade).  Example: solar power, biofuel, etc.


  2. Nonrenewable resources are used faster than they are made so they will run out. exaples are oil, and coal.

    Renewable resources are made at the same rate or faster than they are renewed so they are plentiful examples are wind and sunlight
