  1. Get it all done as soon as you possibly can then slack for the rest of the time. Oh man... if I could have done that in highschool, I'd have been the vali =D

  2. I like to use pencils: they seem to be quite effective at making marks on paper that can then be turned in as work.

  3. I feel the same way....

That's why I'm going to regular high school next year...

I don't know if this will help much....But I always think of my future....I think of the jobs I can get....My future wife....Kids....And I think to myself not to be selfish, because I realize that someday people are going to be counting on me....I don't want to let them down because I'm lazy....

So, I always think of my future....Everything!

Hope this helps, I know what you're going through!

    All my best!

    =)

  4. By making the choice to do it.

This question comes up so often, why do people think there are solutions, or ways around simply making the "choice" to do the work that is required of them?

If I waited until I "felt" like doing some of my work, trust me it would rarely get done.

  5. you can find a tutor to help you solve the problem that you cannot handle. Or you can ask your friend, who is in the same age as you, for some help. Or tell your parents your problem, maybe they can help. Remember that there are many helpful people around that you can trust when you get trouble. Hope you can do your work.

  6. To give yourself a time table this way you have time to do everything you need to and still have time to have fun/do nothing :)

If you can develop your own timetable that suits you then you will be learning a very valuable skill of time management that will be useful through out your life and a skill that employers will be looking for.  By home schooling you have the freedom to develop your own and prove how you can work on your own  initiative.  If you struggle to do it at first then ask for help from your tutor/parents.  Maybe if you write down all you have to do and an estimation of how long you think you need to spend on it every day (honestly!) then you can divide your day up so there is time for eveything.

It doesn't have to be completely rigid there is some room for flexibility but it will give you a base mark to work from and when you manage to tick things off a to do list it will give you satisfaction that will encourage you to keep going.

  7. Part of the problem with me was that I could never really relate to the c**p they were teaching me in school.

So what I ended up doing that benefited me in the long run was that I would change the assignment by talking to the teacher to allow my self to do a different topic or angle in which I was interested in.

Once you realize that education doesn't have to be boring and useless then you will find it easier to do.

There are plenty of assignments that take up a lot of your time, get through them, then read up on somebody that you admire and their life... what ever you do, don't just do what your assignments are no matter who gives them to you.

But you still have to educate yourself, clicking around on facebook does not help.

    Cheers.
