Can someone help me understand Distrbutie property or 11th grade math,I have a website 4 it i jus need 1 on 1 help if you have yahoo im can you tell me your link so you can help me

  1. The word is spelled "distributive, as in "to distribute." In the use of this property, parts of one group are distributed among the parts of another group.


  2. (a + b) (c + d)

    ac + ad + bc + bd

    or a(b + c)

    ab+ac

  3. basically you multiply each item within the parentheses such as...

    a(b+c) = ab + ac

    2(x + y) = 2x + 2y

    3(x +y +z) = 3x + 3y + 3x
