The only communication barriers would should arise at all would be if someone is speaking a foreign language which you do not understand.

The benefits, just like anything else, is that you make the best of any opportunity for yourself and keep contract with your connections as you may need these and benefit from these connections down the road, maybe years down the road.

I cannot state just how important it is to stay in touch with people as you will benefit.

i will try my best to answer informatively.

some communication barriers might

be that of a different language.others might

be more sensitive about who they are and take simple

little mishaps to be very offensive.

the benefit is learning different points of view.

maybe make a couple of friends while your at it,

and learn that we are all human.
