  1. Life has no meaning whatsoever. So do whatever makes u feel good. If u wanna conform, go ahead. If u wanna be a rebel, knock yourself out.

  2. DIVERSITY... most definitely... it really annoys me and hurts me to see all these teenagers around me conforming to fit in... it is udderly ridiculous... teenagers and adults alike need to stand up more for how they feel and what they believe in...even if it pisses someone off..

  3. Diversity is a condition and conformity is a behavior. In a workplace setting, for example, the following is a standard:

The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development’s (CIPD) describes managing diversity as:

"Managing diversity is based on the concept that people should be valued as individuals for reasons related to business interests, as well as for moral and social reasons. It recognises that people from different backgrounds can bring fresh ideas and perceptions which can make the way work is done more efficient and products and services better.

Managing diversity successfully will help organisations to nurture creativity and innovation and thereby to tap hidden capacity for growth and improved competitiveness".

Managing diversity - a CIPD position paper, 1996

Conformity is simply the act of adaptation to the standards, whatever they may be.

  4. Two different concepts, altogether.......later being binding to a particular circular notion or concept or rule or culture or gender or time frame etc. (reading bxn the lines). The former is THEN explained by the above.
