Diving sites?

Question

I'm an enthusiastic diver and wondering if there are any civilised ruins. I found 1 off the okinawan mainland but have been unable to find any others so far.

****I once dove on an extremely old wreck off of Saint Martin.  There were cannons and a large treasure-type chest.  The wreck was very old and hard to distinguish what parts were what.  

You raise an interesting point though.  I'd like to dive more wrecks that were not sunk intentionally.  Maybe even find something valuable!

What sort of geographical location are you looking to dive. I'm guessing not the UK. There are a couple of small villages that have been submerged as a result of damming but I think diving is very restricted. I've not made contact with the authorities yet to see if it is possible but it is something that I am interested in doing at some point.
