things, I would appreciate any advice you would be able to share with me. I am finding out little things that leave me uneasy and betrayed. When calling lawyers I found that a consultation is 150.00 for the first hour. yikes !!!!

i'm sorry.  here in CA our divorce was free.  we have 2 kids but everything was amicable.  we both agreed on everything.  Depends on your income.  go to legal aide for help.  you must take care of yourself first.  don't do anything out of hate.  talk to friends and family.  they are your best support now.

save your $ for the divorce. Do you have kids? Go to a mediator. It'll cost about $600 w/o kids $3500 with kids (at least here in NYC) and then dont worry about the details. If you really want a divorce, focus on the bright future ahead and not those bad details that you didn't like or made this marriage not work in the first place. Dont give up, you'll be stronger after.
