Are we following the other metros? On an average about 100 new divorce cases are filed in a day. Is it the influence of the West or is it because of the new family laws coming into affect? OR is it because of easy money for the wives to claim alimony ?

  1. why shd it be the wives fault only?! it can also be becuase the guy doesnt have time for the home becuase he too busy chasy after money. at the same time, as both husband and wife often work togethr, they grow apart.

  2. Yes.

  3. plz..... stop blaming west for everything.today indian youth no longer want to be stuck in unwanted relationships.it is fine .what is wrong in it?instead of being married to one unwanted person and having 100 affairs isn"t it better to be divorced?

  4. The divorce rate is increasing all over India, in all Metros, uniformly. Very unfortunate development in recent years.

With lot of opportunities in job front, for both women and men. With increase in cost of living in urban areas, both husband and wife are forced to look for jobs, to earn a live. With building pressure to perform well at the work place, coupled with the hectic and erratic timings in work, has made them to spend time apart. Being nucleus family, with no proper guidance from the elders, even a small misunderstanding will grow, as their egos will start clashing. Which ultimately results in divorce petition.

We cant blame the women for demanding the financial independence, as she is also learned and capable of doing all type of work and works honestly than majority of men. Similarly the men were also not to be blamed, as they are also have to shoulder their domestic responsibilities, apart from work related pressure.

So can we blame the rapid Urbanisation ? or Nucleus Family system ? or egos of both ?

  5. its cetainly effect of the west

  6. lack of understands, some people always in imaginations so it

  7. Hyderabad if we call it cyberabad is actually a land of IT oppotunities. Men and women are earning a lot, spending more time in their respective careers than spending quality time among themselves. Frequent office tours adds up to the problem. This might be a reason.

  8. It is the result of the new family laws enacted by the government.  Pretty soon we will be like westerners,

    marry tonight, divorce tomorrow.

This situation will encourage more live in and people will

not marry for the fear of paying child support or alimony

    and for hiring lawyers.

  9. May be bcoz HYB is such a diversified metro city......or should we say, Divorsified....?
