Divx files onto Ipod nano

Question

How do i put a Divx video onto my ipod nano? and why is there already some 'other' on my ipod when all I've put on so far is music?

Apple don't support the Divx codec, so Divx files won't play on ipods.

I just came across a site that sends you an iPod for free! I'm ordering mine right now, going for the black one :)

There's no way to directly put a DivX file onto your nano, but I like iSquint's video conversion program. http://isquint.org/
