is it close to lakeside at all??

Dixon is a long-time farm town SW of Sacramento, with a fairgrounds that often has very nice dog shows. There is also a nice farmstand just off I 80 to the north of the town. It's the neighboring town to Davis, where there is a branch of the U of California.

But Dixon is now becoming suburbanized. Another 10-20 years and there won't be a farm in sight.
