Diy projector projection problem?

I made a homemade projector(DIY), it all turned up fine, but when i project the image, the image looks reflected in the x axis(if you know what i mean) not upside down. is there a way i can fix that? here's an example.

as you see the guy has his left hand up, in my projection the guy has the hand on the right.

i tried a mirrior but didn't work.

A mirror really ought to work.  The mirror should be vertical, but turned 45 degrees with respect to the centerline of the projection.

The image will now project to the left or right depending on which way it's facing.   As long as you have a good quality mirror, the image should be fine.
