Sidibe, who moved to LOSC Lille in the summer from Troyes AC, is looking to the future and has his heart set on a move to England.
While giving an interview to a French magazine, the youngster said that his playing style will help him get settled in the Premier League with ease, and he wants to follow in the footsteps of former Lille players, who moved to the Premier League.
“You can see the players who have used it as the springboard and when I look at Lille, I see Hazard who went to England and Cabaye also.”
The Frenchman, who can play at more than one position, is rated very highly in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899. However, Sidibe is more attracted to the Premier League and believes that the English league is best in the world.
The former Troyes player stated that his style of play is well suited to play in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 and a move to a big English club in future, is his priority.
“Me? It is true that people say my style of play is well suited to England. This championship [Premier League] is the most complete.”
Sidibe was playing in the second tier of the French football not so long ago. And after moving to the Ligue 1, the Frenchman does not want to stop here.
The 20-year-old has very ambitious plans for future and wants to become a world class player, both at domestic and international level. And Sidibe feels that playing for a club like Lille and in Champions League, will help his case
“I know what I have to do, I am well beyond Ligue 2 and the Champions League is in a few weeks.”
Djibril Sidibe has the talent to survive in the Premier League, but whether Lille will allow another of their youngsters to depart, is a question that only time can tell.
