Djimbe cost question?

I'm going to Jamaica in a couple of weeks and would love to get a djimbe. I was wondering how much a medium sized one costs? We'll be in Montego Bay, if that makes a difference at all. Thanks!

They will cost you around $200, maybe less. I am sot sure whether you will find one on every corner but you can perhaps ask someone who knows a lot about these parts.

Stingjam must have quoted in Jamaican dollars so dont get a heart attack. Exchange rate = $71

Not only do i not know how much a djimbe costs....i also have no clue what a djimbe IS!!!!

Perhaps its a kind of drum. Price? i would randomly guess $15,000 based on the price of locally produced music instruments.

WOW. My blind guess wasnt far off! I was going to say J$15,000 to $30,000.
