Jurgen Melzer has defeated Novak Djokovic to reach the semi-finals at Roland Garros while Rafael Nadal has reached the final four with a straight sets defeat of Nicolas Almagro.
Melzer defeated Djokovic a 3-6, 2-6, 6-2, 7-6(3), 6-4 in a quarter-final match that lasted four hours and 15 minutes.
