Arsenal’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Johan-Djourou-c18779 is set to be on his way out of the Emirates, with Napoli seemingly being his favoured destination.
Over the last couple of season, Djourou has tried to rise to fame and failed. The defender has put in a few decent performances for the team, but he hasn’t had the opportunity to constantly impress for the team and as a result, he is now looking to make
a move out of the club.
The twenty five year old recently signed a new deal with the Gunners, but the club is more than likely going to be open to him leaving, should he be able to find a club that is willing to pay the fee that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 expect from his transfer.
The Swiss international is set to speak to a number of teams in the future, with the Italian Serie A currently being hailed as the league that he will most probably join.
When talking about Djourou’s move out of Arsenal, his agent is quoted to have said: "Can [Johan] Djourou join http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003? It's certainly possible, especially as we will be in Italy next week for a series of appointments"
"At the moment Napoli are not on the list of appointments, but everything is possible.”
"If he leaves the Premier League, then he will play in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011.”
"I saw my client the other day and he was enthusiastic about both Napoli and Italy in general. “
"So far we have received an offer worth €10 million [£8.1m], but it is up for negotiation.”
"He wants to play for one of the top five Italian clubs."
Djourou is more than likely going to push for the move, considering the fact that his international career is being put under jeopardy due to the lack of playing time that he gets on the pitch.
Arsenal currently have more than enough centre backs in their squad to let Djourou leave. They have http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Laurent-Koscielny-c21742, all of whom can play in the centre, with a number of youngsters coming up the ranks at the same time.
As a result, it seems like Djourou might just be on his way out this summer.
