http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Johan-Djourou-c18779 is not going to be leaving the Emirates just yet, as his agent has gone on to rubbish reports that were linking the centre back with a move to Roma.
Over the last couple of months, the centre back has been linked with a move out of the team, on the basis that he just isn’t getting enough playing time at the club.
However, despite that fact, Arsene Wenger went on to assure the player that he had a future at the club, which has proven to be one of the reasons for him wanting to stick around at the club.
The defender has not playing a single minute in the Premier League this season, but that doesn’t seem to be enough of a reason to convince him to leave the North London club.
The player’s agent, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Flavio-c13821 Ferraria, recently went on to reveal that an Italian club were willing to pay just over eight million pounds for the defender, but he rubbished reports that suggest that club to be Roma.
"There has been absolutely no contact with Roma and I don't know where these rumours have come from," Ferraria said in a recent interview.

"I met Johan recently, but we did not talk about Roma because there's really nothing to say.”

"There is no real possibility that he will leave Arsenal as he is contracted to them until 2015. However, we will evaluate the current situation in January.”

"Obviously he would like to play in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 because we have discussed this several times before, but he hasn't a preference for any specific club.”

"I think he would do very well at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 because he is young and versatile and the most important thing is that he wants to play with continuity."
At the moment, it is hard to figure out just what Djourou wants to stick around at the club. The defender arguably is not going to be used unless a number of injuries occur to the other defenders.
However, if he is willing to just play in the League Cup for the time being, and then hope for the best, then he is bound to stick around for a long time.
