Evgeny Lovchev has tipped the 29-year-old striker to leave the Russian Premier League club to get more playing time and has discussed Spartak Moscow’s problems
Evgeny Lovchev has advised Lokomotiv Moscow striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dmitri-Sychev-c11421, to leave the Russian Premier League club during the upcoming January transfer window, for the sake of more playing time.
There is little arguing to the statement that Slaven Bilic, who joined the Moscow-based club after resigning as Croatian national team’s head coach this summer, will surely allow the 29-year-old striker to leave the Lokomotiv stadium
if a right offer comes in this January.
Bilic prefers to start with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Victor-Obinna-c36080 or new signing, Dame N’Doye upfront while Sychev is not likely to become the first choice striker under the newly appointed Croatian manager any time sooner.
The Russian International has made just two substitute appearances for the Moscow-based club in the league matches against FC Krylia Sovetov Samara and FC Krasnodar so far this season.
Reports in Russian media suggest that Dynamo Moscow are keeping tabs on Sychev as a potential solution to solve their offensive problems. The White-Blues have been struggling to get more goals since the start of the league campaign
this term.
“I do not know why the forward has failed to get into the basic composition of the team. I think he must be sidelines due to an injury. The guy will turn 30 next year and has left with just two or three years to play at his peak
level in football.”
“I do not know how true the rumours about his potential departure are but I certainly know that he needs a change. He needs to play regularly to earn a national team call-up. I remember the 2002 World Cup, Sychev scored a goal
against Belgium in the group stages.” The Soviet Top League winner was quoted as saying.
Commenting on Spartak Moscow's below par start to the league campaign this season, Lovchev revealed that the Red-Whites need to be more ruthless in front of the goal and urged Unai Emery to concentrate on the defensive problems
at the back.
