Dmytro Zavadsky tames Kestutis Navickas in Men’s Singles semi-final at Turkiye International 2012
Dmytro Zavadsky, one of the most talented players from Ukraine, showed his wonderful aggression in the arena and remained successful in winning the Men’s Singles semi-final battle against Lithuania’s Kestutis Navickas at Turkiye International 2012 on Friday,
December 21, in Turkey.
The aggressive Dmytro, who is the top seed in Men’s Singles draw in the tournament, played with impressive passion and he managed to smack down his lower ranked Lithuanian challenger who was the fifth seed in the tournament.
Ukrainian shuttler played with tremendous precision in the arena and he did not show any mercy to his lower ranked challenger and eventually ended up the match in straight games with a crushing margin on the board.
On the other hand, the fifth seeded Kestutis employed all of his skills to stop the progress of his challenger and eventually went down in a completely vulnerable fashion without showing his brilliance on court.
It was a crunchy fight in the initial points when Dmytro showed a wonderful display of his craft in the arena.
The speed of the rallies was quite fast in first game and Dmytro impressed local crowd with his lofty skills.
Dmytro proceeded with a stunning speed in the starting half and remained ahead on score board until the interval.
The lofty Dmytro remained comfortable on court after the one-minute interval as he played in the similar fashion.
Dmytro was very calm and composed on court as he did not play negative badminton and finished up the first set with a dominating difference of 21-9.
Kestutis was once again in trouble in the second game as he received a severe treatment from his opponent who was at his best in the arena.
Dmytro displayed his impressive skills in the arena by picking the bird early from all corners and maintained his domination over his opponent.
The attacking and positive play in the ending half of second set helped Dmytro to grab the set with a stunning 21-12 total on the board.
Ukrainian shuttler remained successful in winning this semi-final encounter in a completely dominating fashion with a one-sided margin of 21-9 and 21-12.
