Dns server down - cant log in or go to yahoo

TRY TO GO TO YAHOO TO LOOK AT EMAIL AND WHEN I CAN GET TO LOG IN PAGE, I TRY TO LOG IN AND IT GOES TO A WINDOW THAT SAYS YOU ARE NOT CONNECTED THE ERROR THAT COMES UP DNS ERVER IS DOWN - HOW DO YOU FIX
