Do 16-25 railcards (or young person railcard) work before 9am?

Question

i will be attending college next year and will need to get a train or bus and this card would work for me but i unsure of the rules before 9 or 10am please help?!

they don't work during rush hour, so not before 9 i'm afraid. they also can't be used on season tickets

Nope, sorry.n Not during the week at least.

Ycan use it anytime on weekends, Public Holidays and during the week.  The only restriction is that if you travel at or before 10am Monday to Friday (except during July and August) a minimum fare will apply.

This card saved me SO much money, especially when going long distances

Hmm, I used to use a Young Person's Railcard a few years back to travel to a placement - I got the train at 7.30am, and never had any problems using my railcard. Maybe you could give your local station a ring and see what they say.
