Those little ones running Linux with the little bit of memory? I'm thinking of getting one for my daughter for xmas, but I want to know if it runs the internet as we see it here? Do'es it support java, cookies and all the what not?

I've heard it displays youtube, but is it as we know it? Do'es it support all video sites?

Thanks for your help anyway. Much appreciated..

  1. Yes, I have one and very nice it is too! I'm using it now to answer this!

It is Linux based, not windows, but that is only a challenge if you want to tweak it about. To use it 'out of the box' is very easy indeed. It is optimised for web surfing, and has built in wifi.

  2. yeah i own one , great little computer , it supports all the usual java etc and can play avi files etc also youtube videos are no problem . The main advantage is the small size which makes it very transportable .However the downside is the screen is small and when you display a web page you have to use the sliders up and down to see all it all . Its not an ideal computer if its going to be used all the time , but for occasional use or using it on the move ...its first class
