Do's and Don'ts of fire baton twirling?

This is my first year to twirl fire

I know:

-to light them blow it out and practice if it leaves black don't do that move

-no hairspray

-hair in a bun

-be wet down

-can I wear tights?

Yes you can wear tights. Actually, at the place I twirl you have to wear tights in a parade when you twirl fire. If you can twirl batons than you can twirl fire batons. It just takes practice and you have to be careful.
