Do 4 year College’s accept Or community college?

Hi I 'm in 9th grad. I am in Special Ed programs. I am getting Modified Standard diploma. Do 4 year College’s accept Modified Standard Diploma? Or community college? I wasn’t able to get Standard diploma, but my school counselor, told me, I have learning disability. Ok but I accept that I have to overcome my learning disability, not everyone is perfect. I am confused; help me out, Thank you. I am attending Wakefield high school for right now.

I don't know why you keep writing "College’s".  It isn't possessive and it isn't a contraction.  It's plural.  Please drop the apostrophe.

You might start by talking to the Special Education teacher who runs your IEP meetings. You should start going to those soon if you haven't been going up to now, by the way. By your questions I can tell you're ready to be an active member of the team making decisions about your educational future.

Your SpEd teacher may send you to a teacher who specifically works with transition plans at your school. Federal law requires your school to have some kind of plan to deal with your transition from high school to college or work, maybe by your 16th birthday. The people who work with those at your school should know or find out about the colleges in your area, and opportunities for students with learning disabilities.

I've been told that many colleges (4 year and 2 year) will admit you with a modified diploma is you meet other requirements-I woudl hope at the lleast you could get into a county or state run college where you live.
