Question:

Do AFL clubs give refunds on memberships fees?

That mad Irishman Jim Stynes has sacked Paul McNamee as club CEO (After 3 months!) & replaced him with one of his boot-lickers.

We owe nearly 5 million bucks & he causes a contractral payout of about 150,000 bucks to buy McNamee out of his signed contract.

Plus all the other things he is doing at the club. He thinks he's the next Messiah, when in fact he's a big goose.

I'll go back when he's gone!

  1. They should do in this instance.

I agree with what the bloke above me has posted.

  2. **I can understand your frustration.  What the board has done is wrong and it annoys me that they get help from the AFL and then waste this money (same as Carlton did).

Clubs will not refund memberships and nor should they.

You need to support your club through thick and thin regardless of what you think of some of the decisions that they've made.  A true supporter would stick by them.

Do you really think that the club would survive if everyone asked for a refund because they didn't agree on decisions that had been made by the board?

Now is the time that your club needs your support and you sticking by them otherwise they're likely to fold and it'd be too late then.**

  3. Well mate, i for one read your question properly,  owing almost 5 mill, then sacking macca, they have to pay out $150,000 as you said, it makes no sense to me, it's not like the bloke was doing a c**p job,he had only just got in the place.

The Irish twit (who ran over the Buckenara mark, to miss a grand final birth) is getting a bit big for his boots me thinks.

From what Paul Mac said, no one was allowed to talk to the media at all, only him, sounds to me if it's not his way, you're out of there, Bailey will be next, the fact that he has a weak list won't matter to Stynes, you watch and see, he'll pay some big name, putting the club in deeper debt.

  4. I know you already know the answer to your question. Did you word it that purposefully to make it a question - rather than having a gripe?

Good on yer! The club wont advance with such decisions like this one. You are not the only member to pussed off about what is happening.

I hope he soon gets told he can't do as his small Irish mind wants!

  5. as i always say footballers should only play football leave the running the club to the rest and once retired coach or stay away.

  6. Tough call by Stynes and his board, Melb are in the "you know what" big time, I admire his passion and energy but is he flogging a dead horse, the Melbourne brand wont keep them afloat forever!!

  7. look do u want melbourne to get on top on their money problems or be in c**p for years.

he is extra baggage he is a tennis player and shouldnt be involved in something if he isnt genna be there for their trouble times.

you probably think he should be still ceo well he was drggin them down they need fresh ideas not ones that involve him at tennis
