Do ALL Ps3 games support 480i??

Well, I moved to a condo unit recently for college...Of course i didn't bring my HDTV as it too big for the bus so I just brought along my SDTV...The picture quality is okay for me as I just play to pass time, besides I can watch movies I downloaded as well as listen to music..

While I was buying GTA4 I saw behind the case that the game only supports 720p, 1080i and 1080p...When I got home(nervous btw) I put in the Disc into my PS3 and voila it worked like a charm..Was I just lucky or does all ps3 games support 480i even without indicating it in the back of the Disc Case?

yes all PS3 games support 480i but not native like PS2 games...

All games will work on 480i, in fact they will all work on 1080p, the back just indicates the native resolution of the games, so the resulution to get best results. the Ps3 jsut downscales or upscales as required.
