If I received a not-so-decent score on my AP exam and I DON'T want it sent to colleges, do I have to send a request to NOT send it? Does that mean that AP scores are automatically sent to colleges regardless or do you request them to be sent?

  1. I believe, if I remember correctly, you have to choose which schools they send them to.

Even if you bombed the AP test, it can't hurt you. It just means you won't get free credits for them like if you got a run of 5s.

  2. They automatically send them if you specified during the test. If you didn't fill out any college, then they wont send them. You have to tell them and pay that $15 fee for each college.
