  1. It depends, do you wash/clean your bird regularly?

Or do you clean it not often.

If you clean it often (Spray with a bottle of mist for a shower) then it will not bother people with asthma.

If you don't clean it at all and want it hand-tamed and able to be handled at all, they can get a little occasional dust on them sometimes so i reccomend you don't get one if you have asthma and you do not clean it at all.

    Goodluck!

  2. Their down feathers are designed for the end to break down into a white powder. It wouldn't be a good idea with asthma.

  3. Any bird may bother anyone with asthma or allergies. The worst I would say are African Greys and Cockatoos. They have awful feather down dust. I have one Grey and a air purifier and things are still covered with white dust. Maybe a parakeet or something smaller. I would also get a good air purifier. Good luck. Any bird is a good bird.

  4. They are a dusty bird, So yes they can. I would think about another kind if your asthma is bad.
