  2. I've always been confused on how to spell doughnut, but I usually spell it like that, but all Americans spell color like color.

  3. we spell doughnut or donut doesn't matter

    and we spell color

  4. THEY SPELL COLOUR COLOR AND THEY SPELL DOUGHNUT  DONUT . WHY DON'T YOU JUST TEST IT ON YAHOO IT'S AMERICAN SO THE THINGS IT UNDERLINES YOU KNOW IT DON'T SPELL USUALLY. WHY DON'T YOU JUST ADD A DICTIONARY BY RIGHT CLICKING  IT WOULD MAKE YOU SPELL THINGS PROPLEY AND NOT THOSE OF AN AMERICAN ENGILSH WRONG GRAMMAR IGNORANT COUNTRY

  5. i think we spell it DONUT, or doughnut not sure. But im sure of the spelling of color, we hardly use colour

  6. nope do you guys have jaws that wingle and are detached like southpark?

  7. i live in america and i have all of my life and i spell donut like donut and color like color

  8. I live in Minnesota, and I've seen donut both ways among my friends, but I (personally) spell it donut. We all spell it color here, although it's colour in england and australia also.

  9. DONUT and COLOR....

  10. we spell it like donut and color. but math is the worldwide its the scientist measurement used around the world so that is the same but spelling is different

  11. no we spell donut like donut

    nd color like color lol

unless there retarted or sometihng lol

  12. Most people I know in America spell them like "donut" and "color."

And the donut restaurants spell it like "donut."

I hardly ever see anyone who spells them "doughnut" and "colour" but both ways are correct.

  13. Well 'color' has been pretty well covered, but I wanted to chime in for 'doughnut'.  Then again, I'm in Massachusetts and we're kind of formal about stuff here.  We are where Dunkin' Donuts started, and like to keep the brand name spelling distinct from the correct spelling.

PS: In the US we also usually capitalise "I" and "I'm", even in the middle of a sentence.

  14. im American and i spell it as donut and color

  15. No.

    Donut is still Donut.

and some people spell color like colour...i think haha.

  16. It's generally donut and color, but I was taught colour as a kid

  17. Nope. Color is spelled as color only in America.

  18. yes they do. i am also canadian and i think its cause of the british roots that makes us spell differently. just like how americans have imperial and we have metric. im pretty sure the US and like only a couple other countries use imperial...... its odd though how the british spell 'tire' like ' tyre' . whatever

  19. Lol, no, we're not Brittish.  We spell color like color and donut like donut. (Although there is the occasional American who really doesn't know how to spell donut.)

  20. No they don't, Americans and Canadians have butchered the language handed to us all by the English. You also miss-spell Neighbour, favour, Mum, honour, analyse, criticise, memorise, enrolment, fulfil, skilful, centre, metre, theatre, analogue, catalogue, dialogue, encyclopaedia, manoeuvre, mediaeval, cheque, arguement, judgement, defence, licence, jewellery, dreaghut, pyjamas, plough, programme and tyre.... there are a whole lot more i am sure but you get the idea...

  21. You'll often hear these words, "American English" and "International English" I think Canada uses the International English version, and obviously, the Americans use American English.

There are slight variations, such as the use of S's instead of Z, and the random placing of U's.

  22. Color is definitely color

Doughnut and Donut depends, I usually alternate the spelling

  23. Doughnut or donut, either way.

Color.  We leave out the extra vowel (honor, valor, etc.)

    Different THAN in America.....

  24. here it is donut and color.

  25. americans spell it like this color, and donut
