No, I would imagine that China, with the highest population in the world eats more chinese food. However, there isn't as much food going around in China as there is in the US. China has many agricultural issues and alot of poverty. Americans pretty much eat whatever they want whenever they want.

yes, there are more Chinese restaurants in the US then fast food places

the difference though is that our Chinese food is prepared the way Americans like it, often deep fried, containing lots of fat, msg and salt. If you eat Chinese food in China you'll find that it is the complete opposite with fresh vegetables and good for you.

China alone, the population is 1.3 billion. Compared to us the Americans the US population here is only  301 million.

I'm not even counting those Chinese people worldwide, those in our country & elsewhere around the world. Those that made Chinese resturants possible in different countries & around the world.

Americans eat all type of foods in our country of USA is alone made up of different ethnic foods we eat pizza hut, taco bell, olive garden, sushi, gyro, & etc...depending we want to eat.

LOL. I'm Chinese and I eat Chinese food almost everyday because that's what is served at my house. But I think I get your drift, when I go out and eat I tend to like to eat at a non-Chinese restaurant cuz I eat it so much already. So American's probably do the same, they eat so much American food that they try other kinds of cuisines as well.
