Do Americans know that they have no more friends?

After traveling the globe extensively, I realised that I did not meet one person that likes the USA anymore. Seriously, do you realise that Bushs´ policies cost you all your friends? WHAT IS YOUR OPINION? Any concerns?

  1. I have also travelled extensively and dependent on what sort of person you speak to the more sensible will say that they don't like or don't agree with George Bush but I have not heard anyone say they don't like the USA in general because of what has happened in Iraq, if the people you have met are saying that then you must have bumped into some small minded sorts on your travels, you obviously feel this way yourself don't you?

Maybe you feel that we don't need the US telling us who is dangerous and who is a threat, maybe we should tell them to get their bases off our soil because we don't need their protection anymore, or maybe you should be bloody thankful they are on our side!!!

You may get all this if Ron Paul gets to be President as I have read that he would like to see the US out of the UN and out of NATO, so that should make all those people you have met very happy, shouldn't it??

  2. i am incline to disagree. dislike the American government. not the people.

  3. Over half of America is concerned. We are looking forward to getting rid of him in less than one year, now.

  4. There must be some friends around, maybe venezela

  5. Yes its true. I encountered the same. The Brits went into Iraq through Blair.. the PEOPLE never wanted anything to do with it. The same counts for Australians. Howard has created a security risk for them suddenly.

In Fahrenheit 911 the countries that supported the USA are all tiny places with bad economies and no army, all praying for financial aid. America is in trouble and people don't know it because they are not OBJECTIVE.

They only watch American news on TV, like government controlled CNN, being brainwashed.

If only they would LOOK AT OTHER NEWS SOURCES. Please!! I.e. SKY, BBC, Al Jazera or any foreign agency. They are caught in a bubble, their own little universe. They will need to wake up soon, before it´s too late.

A world outside the USA actually does exist (believe it or not)

    Dont forget.. Americans ELECTED Bush.

  6. Seeing as how your ID was created just  yesterday, I'm of the opinion you are a troll trying to cause hate and discontent. Nice try though.

  7. I was in the Army stationed in Germany and deployed to Iraq about Two years ago.

The Iraqis DO like Americans there. They are over all glad that we are ther. Except for a few bad apples.

Most Germans, over all, are glad we are there for now to.

If we left Germany for insistence, that would take over One Million Euros out of the German economy a day and that is just on the Week days. It would at least double that figure on the Week ends, when Americans go to the local German bars, grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, hotels, apartments, etc. Plus the US Military employs Thousands of Germans and Iraqi civilians and pays the German govt. just to be there in their country. We also pose a threat to any country who would dare attack Germany or Iraq!

I did talk to several Germans and some Iraqi civilians. I even dated a German girl for a while.

  8. i love Americans and i am not from America as a matter of fact i love people anywhere, i think its politicians you are talking about, that's a different story.

  9. BUSH and his government have no friends--I personally have friends all over the planet.

  10. I'm not from America but it seems like a pretty okay place.

    (see, not EVERYONE hates America..)

  11. You are lying. Period.

  12. It's lonely at the top.

  13. I agree have you ever met an american???

Bloody h**l we went mexico and jamaica and they are so loud and dont give a d**n about anyone else. You always get that fat american sittin in the pool smoking a cigar and thinking its ok because he has paid for the holiday

  14. as long as they respect us. when that's gone, turn out the lights!

  15. That's NOT true.

  16. whatever.

luckily we got something better: superior firepower.

  17. thinking the same thing here i dun think any countries in the world like America anymore, Bush is a big trouble maker

  18. We have plenty of friends; especially when someone is in trouble; who gets the first call to help, why it is the United States of America. The only country in the world who knows how to kick butt.  The only country in the world, past, present and future who have continually helped  their Ally's and their thankless citizens, who do nothing to take care of themselves, but, bitching and whining.

  19. I realize that many countries don't like America because of the way that Bush is running it, I don't think it's absolutely hated by every country.  A lot of americans are ignorant and don't realize how good they have life, I'm sure that also contributes to our low popularity,  Can't wait for '09.

    (Btw I am American)

  20. I will continue finding friends as long as I live.

Other countries could tolerate ordinary americans and vice versa.  Other countries really hate the american president.

  21. I already have enough friends.

Besides if that was true then I wouldn't be processing new immigrants everyday who bow down and thank heaven they get to live here.

  22. wow! who pooped in your cheerios! If they hate us so much why do they flock here in droves, or expect our help every time there's a disaster, ever notice were always there to help! the people of the United States of America, are the most gracious, giving,FREE! people on the face of this puny little planet, just because George is an idiot, doesn't change who,We the people are! there mad at George not us, and he'll be out of here in a few , God bless America!!

  23. Ok , I do not leave my comfortable back yard, so I do not know how the "countries" are treating us. I do however feel like an outsider in my own country, thanx to the water walker "Bush". I hate this man

He is a bald face liar and should have been impeached, or hung  on the day he swore in.

The ppl from other countries are walking on my ancestors liberties and it so sux. But thank Bush for it all and the blue bloods who voted him in!

  24. I don't know.

    I live in America.

Beats me who likes us, but I hate our president.

    Ha.

  25. This is wrong. I like America and one of my best friends is American.

This asker is obviously just letting off steam.

  26. I'll bet your an American yourself and are just trolling to push peoples buttons.

  27. not even americans like america!

but everybody seems to love it

  28. I'm their friend.

  29. To dislike a nation of people because of their leader is a bit much.

After Maggie Thatcher, do you think everyone dislikes us ?.

  30. I know a few American people whom I am happy to call friends.  It is true that we have a different perspective on the world and the roles of different nations within it but attitudes are unlikely to change if one group calls the other names or if the other group responds with comments like "Yeah, but we are stronger than you."  Americans have a stronger sense of national identity than I am used to in the UK and a greater sense of the power of economic and cultural imperialism, backed up by military might.  These may be attitudes that grate with the rest of the world but I think it is misleading to equate a distrust of American world politics with a hatred of American people.

  31. Look, you must have traveled the globe with your eyes closed. Several nations, especially those in Europe, have elected presidents who are Bush supporters (France, Germany to name a few) and people really don't hate the US. Here's a question for you: If everyone hated us so much, why do we have a problem with illegal immagration? Food for thought...
