  1. No--only a few and very lucky people live that lifestyle. Most of us have ordinary jobs, live in ordininary houses in ordinary neighborhoods, and drive ordinary cars-that is, those of us who are lucky to have ordinary jobs, homes, and cars. Movies deal in fantasy-what most of us wish we could have, or do.

  2. Do the people of your country live the way movies project? The worst are anime freaks who think all Japanese are ninja ready to slice their bellies open if they say the wrong thing. People are people.

  3. Of course they don't. Like you said, it's how it's portrayed in the movies. If anything, it's a highly inaccurate portrayal of American life. Not all Americans are rich, live in huge houses, drive around in luxury cars, have four children, a dog and a wife and go to baseball games every Saturday afternoon!

  4. Yes, exactly like that. Everyone. I also foiled two world-threatening terrorist plots last week. Movies capture average American life perfectly.

  5. I do, but most don't.  In fact, a good portion of the people over here are lazy and expect the government to take care of them.  I will say this though.......I went to Taiwan once and stayed with people who were considered to be rich.  If their house was in America, it would have been easily afforded by someone with low income here.

  6. We sure do!  And all the telephone number in the U.S. start with 555-.

  7. Yes, exactly like that. Everyone. I also foiled two world-threatening terrorist plots last week. Movies capture average American life perfectly.

  8. Of course they don't. It is just acting.
