I want to move to whistler for at least a season, and as an American and Irish citizen I was wondering if this is difficult to accomplish?

  1. I think you have to marry someone over there in order to stay and work. Hey, but they work here.

  2. yes if you are not a Canadian citizen then yes a visa or work permit is require. they take a little longer to obtain now since 9-11 so apply sooner, they are also easier if you have work references, or expeince. and last but not least it becomes even easier if you already have a job to start as soon as you get here for the answer to all these questions including if any are hirering now, the site here is Canada's main web home page and has links to eveything you will need
