Do Americans think the UK is "too liberal"?

(Happy 4th July to our cousins accross the 'Pond, btw. Have a good one!)

Do you think, with our soft prison sentences, political correctness, NHS and other "socialist" institutions, Welfare State, Human Rights Legislation (which sometimes lets the "rights" of the criminal supersede justice for the victim), anti-gun laws, Archbishop of Canterbury suggesting we incorporate Sharia Law into our legal system and so on that we are too liberal?

Or do you think we're not liberal enough? Or just right?

I live in the us and i would like the us to be more like the uk.especially with guns.I love english comedy too. :)
