Do Americans today have the intestinal fortitude our founding fathers displayed?

There is the option to add The Human Right To Peace to The Constitution . This would as the question has put it show the same intestinal fortitude as the founding fathers or  even more than those who would follow. It has been said that a person who can keep to a pacific view in face of violence has a strength beyond what those who use violence have.

There is one more item that might have be of use The Human Right To own the planet and conserve natural resources.

This is something which would have been of use at the time of The American Civil War. The  Right To Peace and The Human Right  To own The planet and conserve natural resources might have been able to prevent The Civil War and many future conflicts.

I think its a decreasing margin of people, everyone is too comfortable. Everyone's so busy, we all have our own problems to worry about.

Its almost impossible to compare our country then to our country now. The information age has changed things, no longer can our government do something to affect the country and no one find out till 3 months after the fact. In fact the whole world knows, as soon as it happens. Thats something they never had to face.

our founding fathers sacrificed for our country. they fought and spoke and demonstrated and protested for the US and very few are doing that today.

we believe in the rights of the individual.....

and will not be told what to do, how to do it, or when or where to do it.....

this country was founded by the quintessential non-conformists of the day....

as long as some of us such as myself are still around, this country will remain the greatest power on earth.....

for conformity is a sign of weakness......
