Do Americans watch Australian T.V?

I'm just wondering because we tend to get a lot of American shows which of course I prefer only due to Australian shows are ****! Some any..

h**l yeah the Australian shows are f*cked. most of the shows are american but i dot mind since they are all better than the australian ones. but not all australian shows are bad, some of them are alright. but wat really pises me off is how australians copy the americans, with shows like the Australia idol and so you think you can dance.

The only Australian shows on in North America come over the Satellite and i guess a few likely in the higher cable channels. On basic t.v. that most people have there are no Australian shows. I found Australia top model on the sat once but really no. The rest of the worlds watches America.

I am an American living in New Jersey just outside of New York City and have never seen any Australian TV anything.  We get BBC World broadcasts and occasionally some channels have carried the Moscow Evening News but that's about it.

I know about Steve Irwin because his shows were aired on Animal Planet, which is widely available on US cable providers.
